Tasks

• Ensuring information protection through technology monitoring, analysis and documentation, including internal processes in accordance with BSI basic protection and ISO 2700x standards
• Responsibility and updating of the company's IT systems to comply with legal regulations
• Ensuring the protection of operating and application software during test runs, data backups and restarts of IT systems
• Participation in the planning and procurement of communication and IT equipment as well as the development of communication, IT and information security concepts
• Planning, implementation, accreditation and further development of an Information Security Management System (ISMS)
• Management of security incidents, including documentation, log evaluation and forensic analysis of rule violations
• Planning and implementation of training courses to raise awareness of information security and compliance with applicable regulations
• Support, advice and close cooperation with specialist departments in the implementation, creation and further development of concepts, processes and guidelines for information protection

Qualification

• Completed studies in (technical) computer science
• Alternatively, completed IT training, e.g. as an IT specialist specialising in system integration or digital networking, IT systems electronics technician
• Several years of professional experience in the field of IT security, in particular in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility such as information protection and technology monitoring
• Sound knowledge of IT security management as well as practical experience with ITIL, BSI basic protection and ISO 2700x standards
• Experience in planning and conducting training courses to raise awareness of information security and compliance with legal requirements
• Ability to implement and further develop Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) according to common security standards
• Excellent German and English language skills for effective communication and documentation in an international environment
