Tasks

• Supervision of workstations and repair processes in accordance with EASA14 regulations
• Implementation of maintenance specifications in work documents (JC), definition of the scope of work and development of workplace-related standards and technical best practices
• Continuous analysis and improvement of production and process quality, design and optimisation of workstations and processes
• Development, modification and documentation of repair procedures, test programmes and trials
• Preparation and initiation of manufacturer and authority approvals for new developments or changes to procedures
• Monitoring workshop processes and invoicing orders using SAP systems, as well as initiating measures in the event of deviations
• Coordinating maintenance measures, costs and lead times with production units, production management and customer service, including planning, processing and monitoring maintenance orders
• Defining quality assurance measures for the maintenance process, tracking and investigating complaints and faults in all engine areas and taking appropriate corrective action

Qualification

• Successfully completed technical vocational training with a demanding additional qualification in the field of aviation technology or comparable expertise and willingness to undergo further training in specific areas of responsibility
• Comprehensive knowledge of engine maintenance, engine system interrelationships as well as module and equipment overhauls, including individual part repairs
• Good knowledge of business contexts for the efficient management and optimisation of processes and resources
• Familiarity with relevant aviation legislation and regulations to ensure compliance
• Confident handling of common IT systems, in particular SAP R/3 and MS Office
• Business fluent in English
• Willingness to work both at home and abroad
• Willingness to work shifts and existing work permit for the EU
