Tasks

  • Responsible for various projects such as material changes and optimisation measures
  • Support with tenders and selection of suppliers
  • Participate in target definition and supplier development where appropriate
  • Negotiation of contract terms and responsibility for contract change management
  • Processing of contract conclusions and their implementation
  • Defining performance targets and monitoring supplier performance in logistics, quality and costs
  • Regular review, evaluation and support of supplier offers
  • Assessing and prioritising supplier risk in terms of economic and capacity development and defining risk responsibilities

Qualification

  • Completed studies in industrial engineering, supply chain / logistics or economics
  • Several years of professional experience in purchasing, supplier management and contract management
  • Preferably experience at Airbus
  • Expertise in agile project methodology is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of project management, expertise in data management/data analysis desirable
  • In-depth user knowledge of SAP and Google Workspace
  • Proficient German and business fluent English skills
  • Existing work permit for the EU
