Tasks

• Assume team leadership and technical responsibility for the flight controls team, including primary and secondary control system, flight abort system and ground control segment
• Management and coordination of suppliers for the primary flight control system to ensure highest quality and efficiency
• Management and implementation of the secondary flight control system, the flight abort system and the ground control segment
  
• Design, implementation, integration of flight control functions
• Creation of efficient and reliable codes for flight control systems
• Monitoring and managing the CI process
• Produce regular reports and analyses to document progress and compliance with project objectives
• Reviewing the requirements for flight control functions

Qualification

• Successfully completed or ongoing Master's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering or related disciplines
• Proven practical experience in flight control
• Sound knowledge of control theory, flight control, flight dynamics of eVTOLs and model-based design
• Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink, C programming and Microsoft Office tools is required
• Implementation expertise is a prerequisite
  
• Desirable expertise in Polarion and GIT
• Ü2 sabotage protection approval according to § 13 para. 1 no. 17 SÜG is necessary
