Tasks

  • Production and assembly of riveted joints and assemblies for structural components in accordance with construction documents, production instructions and drawings

  • Production of components in accordance with current aviation standards

  • Making preparations (viewing and sorting orders and drawings, setting up components and construction sites as well as checking and providing production equipment)

  • Positioning and fixing components

  • Carrying out and documenting the assembly of components and assemblies

  • Carrying out surface protection (rivet head application and preservation of sealed seams)

Qualification

  • Successfully completed vocational training as a precision mechanic, aircraft mechanic, industrial mechanic, automotive mechanic, automotive mechatronics technician, mechanic, mechatronics technician, locksmith, carpenter or in another craft or metalworking profession

  • First professional experience in the fields of precision mechanics, industrial mechanics, mechanics, aviation mechanics, locksmith and / or structural mechanics (metal) at Airbus Operations

  • Proficient knowledge of German and basic English

  • Willingness to work in 2-3 shift operation

  • Work permit for the EU available
