Tasks

  • Independent development and design of metallic, plastic and fibre composite-based components for aerospace applications

  • Modelling and creation of design documents using the 3D CAD system CATIA V5 and / or PTC CREO

  • Compilation of parts lists and their seamless integration into the ERP system

  • Continuous maintenance of products and implementation of design changes, including drawing and purchased part specification checks

  • Technical coordination with customers and suppliers to optimise components in terms of cost, weight and quality

  • Active participation in dynamic project teams, with close collaboration across departmental boundaries, including work preparation, manufacturing, purchasing, sales and quality assurance

Qualification

  • Successfully completed studies in engineering, aerospace or mechanical engineering

  • Alternatively, completed technical vocational training with many years of experience

  • Many years of expertise in design and mechanical design

  • Experienced skills in reading technical drawings, applying shape and position tolerances and creating parts lists

  • Profound user knowledge of MS Office, strong knowledge of CAD systems such as CATIA and PTC CREO as well as experience with ERP systems

  • Business fluent in German and proficient in English

  • Existing work permit for the EU
