Tasks

  • Assume engineering product responsibility for the assigned component range (engine)

  • Responsibility for the creation and release of precise maintenance documents

  • Definition of in-house developments, repairs, modifications and tests

  • Carrying out and precise realisation of calculations

  • Identification and demonstration of optimisation potential in the maintenance process

  • Development of concepts for alternatives, including technical and economic evaluation of solution concepts and implementation of action plans

  • Effective coordination and communication of technical issues between production, administration, customers and management

  • Tracking faults, technical complaints and limit overruns, as well as independent investigation and initiation of remedial measures

  • Managing projects, taking on sub-projects and successfully implementing special tasks

Qualification

  • Successfully completed studies, ideally in mechanical engineering, aircraft construction or aeronautical engineering

  • Comprehensive knowledge of lean optimization methods and aircraft and equipment maintenance

  • Expertise in aeronautical legislation and business fundamentals

  • Good user knowledge of MS Office and SAP R/3

  • Business fluent in German and English

  • Existing work permit for the EU
