Tasks

  • Optimising the performance of aircraft engines by professionally upgrading and fine-tuning existing engine systems
  • Professional assembly and installation of engines and their components, strictly according to the latest approval and certification standards
  • Support directly on the final assembly line (FAL) and the flight line, including rapid troubleshooting of engines and Nacelle components
  • Carrying out incoming inspections of engine cowling components, precise assembly before and after the painting process according to standard operating procedures, as well as the assembly of C-frames for the application of logos
  • Identification of painted components, carrying out special checks as part of the quality system and carrying out rework and repairs in accordance with special technical instructions
  • Safe handling and management of aircraft components and engines, ensured by strict adherence to health and safety and accident prevention regulations in accordance with RTX EHS policy
  • Constant monitoring and control of the condition and completeness of tools, as well as maintaining order and cleanliness in the workplace to ensure an efficient and safe working environment

Qualification

  • Successfully completed vocational training as a mechanic
  • Ideally experience as a mechanic in the aviation industry and working with engines
  • Good knowledge of German and English
  • Willingness to work in shifts
  • Existing work permit for the EU
