Aviation System Architect (m/f/x)

Tasks

  • Design system architecture in accordance with ARP4754 and ARP4761

  • Take responsibility for specific systems and manage the entire implementation cycle

  • Writing test requirements and participating in test activities at system and aircraft level

  • Preparation of system documentation for assigned systems

  • Performing tests with automated test tools and measurement equipment for verification and validation

  • Evaluation of test reports and test results

  • Preparation of failure analysis reports / defect reports

Qualification

  • Successfully completed studies in the field of engineering (preferably Master of Engineering or Master of Science)

  • Many years of professional experience in cockpit display systems (ATA 31), integrated modular avionics (ATA 42), communication (ATA 23) or navigation (ATA 34)

  • Several years of experience in test and test bench instrumentation, test execution and data processing

  • Experience with the hardware and software development process according to DO 178B/C, DO 254 and familiarity with ARP4754

  • Good knowledge of network protocols such as CAN, ARINC 429, RS422/485, UART and Ethernet

  • Knowledge of Honeywell test benches, such as TRACS, SITS or Micro-SITS environment advantageous

  • Fluency in English, fluency in German advantageous

  • Existing work permit for the EU
