Tasks

  • Holistic planning of future needs and innovative avionics solutions, from concept analysis to feasibility in all research and pre-development phases

  • Ensuring the retrofit and upgrade of the operational fleet for maximum efficiency

  • Defining, developing and certifying highly effective avionics solutions

  • Active participation in the avionics strategy at system level and in technology roadmaps

  • Participation in system engineering for avionics: design of processes, methods and use of tools as well as management of cross-cutting functions

  • Clear definition of operational concepts and use cases for the entire avionics landscape

  • Performing precise functional analyses and defining the functional architecture

  • Management of filter boards for problem reports at avionics level and responsibility for flight release activities

  • Preparation of comprehensive technical evidence for qualification and certification at avionics level

Qualification

  • Degree in engineering, aerospace or electronic systems/systems engineering

  • Extensive professional experience in engineering

  • Profound knowledge of Doors, Visio, Reqtify, Mantis, Nectar, Windchill and Cameo as well as 3D experience (TRA/TRM/EEW/RGD) an advantage

  • Business fluent in German and English

  • Existing work permit for the EU
