Tasks

• Precise inspection of dimensional accuracy of aircraft and vehicle components, assemblies, fixtures and gauges
• Acquisition and evaluation using advanced 3D coordinate measuring systems (optical/tactile)
• Measurement of free-form surfaces and standard geometries on prototypes, initial samples and series components
• Individual and series measurements as well as accompanying measurements during production
• Programming and evaluating measurement sequences using CAD data, measurement plans and drawings
• Independent processing of enquiries in the field of measurement technology within the company
• Contact person for internal clients such as development or quality assurance

Qualification

• Completed technical vocational training in the fields of measurement technology, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or electrical engineering
• Further training as a master craftsman, technician or AUKOM-certified measurement technician is an advantage
• Strong expertise in 3D coordinate measuring technology
• Good understanding of technical drawings and documentation
• Initial experience in working with Product Data Management (PDM) systems
• Confident handling of MS Office and SAP
• Very good knowledge of English required
• Willingness for longer stays and business trips to the USA until the end of 2025
