Tasks

• Participation in structural and mechanical development for civil and military aviation projects and in the field of innovation
• Creation of structural and mechanical design documents (3D, 2D with NX and BOM with SAP) for prototype and series production
• Updating and managing material master data and design data in SAP
• Coordinating interfaces with other departments such as systems, electronics and production
• Carrying out and supporting structural calculations using the finite element method (strength, dynamic behaviour, modal analysis) for individual parts and assemblies
• Supervision and coordination of external work packages

Qualification

• Successfully completed studies in the field of aerospace engineering or comparable
• Professional experience in the design of structural components (composite & metal) and sound knowledge of the relevant materials
• Familiarity with aviation approvals, regulations and standards
• Existing experience in an aerospace design organisation is an added plus
• Excellent skills in the use of NX and SAP
• Very good knowledge of German and English
• Valid work permit for the European Union
