Tasks

  • Working with multi-megawatt battery systems in the test environment

  • Planning and coordinating tests with stakeholders

  • Setting up and operating labs and equipment for testing

  • Working closely with battery developers and other integration engineers

  • Analysing and interpreting test data for battery components

  • Setting up, maintaining and operating test rooms and test benches

  • Performing tests according to industry standards for battery cells and components

  • Provide critical feedback to stakeholders and support production planning

Qualification

  • Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, power engineering, mechatronics or a related field required

  • Several years of practical experience working with battery systems

  • Good knowledge of working in electrical laboratories and testing practices

  • Expertise with battery systems, especially Li-ion batteries, electrical battery testing equipment and battery testing equipment is required

  • Expertise in the use of battery module devices

  • Experience in the automotive or aerospace industry is desirable

  • Fluency in English is essential, knowledge of German or another language is an advantage

  • Existing work permit for the EU
