Management and planning of the development of an electrical energy storage system, taking into account aviation standards such as ARP4754A and the certification plan
Formulate and review system and equipment level requirements to meet certification, customer, aircraft and safety standards and ensure required system functionality
Design of airworthy architectures for the energy storage system
Work closely with other development teams on design, interfaces, control and safety aspects
Coordination with potential suppliers to ensure smooth cooperation
Creation and management of Statement of Work (SOW) documents
Continuous review and improvement of technical concepts, tools and methods
Active participation in flight test campaigns to ensure system performance and reliability
Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, electronics, mechanics or a related field with a proven track record
Several years of professional experience in the above field, ideally in the aviation industry
Extensive experience in aerospace development (ARP4754A) with a clear understanding of safety critical development processes and expertise in certification requirements
Basic knowledge of EASA/FAA regulations and guidance documents as well as industry standards for the development of electrically powered vertical take-off and landing aircraft (eVTOL)
Profound experience with requirements management tools, equipment qualification (DO160), EMI and supplier management
Existing work permit for the European Union
