Advice on production-oriented design
Procurement of materials, semi-finished parts and finished products
Manufacturing or refining mechanical components and constructions by processing various materials (metal, plastic, wood)
Assembly and maintenance of test benches and systems, including the setup and adjustment of devices and machines
Production of individual parts and assemblies
Instrumentation of the test benches and independent performance of simple tests, e.g. on battery cyclers
Participation in administrative tasks to develop and maintain the functionality of the Test Operations team and its facilities (creation of processes, templates and technical documentation)
Successfully completed training as a cutting machine operator, toolmaker or comparable vocational training in metalworking
Several years of professional experience and comprehensive technical understanding in mechanical and plant engineering
Profound knowledge in the manufacture, assembly, modification and repair of mechanical devices through manual and mechanical processing (milling, turning, sawing, drilling, welding, bending, grinding)
Ideally experience with electrical systems, especially in the field of energy storage systems
Expertise in working with test environments in the automotive or aerospace sector is an advantage
Practical experience with standard IT software such as MS Office and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new software tools
Proficiency in English required, knowledge of German is an advantage
Possession of a class B driver's license is mandatory
Existing work permit for the EU
