Tasks

  • Coordination of the further development of a framework or tool (e.g. Matlab) for simulation-based optimisation of the design of the ZEROe drive system
  • Identification of possibilities to extend the framework to additional use cases within the Environmental Control Systems
  • Selection of suitable methods and modelling approaches for creating thermofluid system models and component models at various levels of detail
  • Development of methods, tools and model libraries for system modelling and simulation
  • Improving and optimising the overall system design and solving problems in the behaviour of the environmental control system, including the ZEROe drive syst

Qualification

  • Completed studies in engineering or in the field of air conditioning or process engineering
  • Several years of professional experience in engineering, development, modelling and simulation
  • Knowledge of thermal fluid and air conditioning systems, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics
  • Experience in automated design optimisation, electrochemistry, fuel cells and hydrogen-powered drive systems is an advantage
  • In-depth application knowledge of Python, sound knowledge of the detailed functions of Matlab
  • Expertise in working with Dymola / Modelica or comparable simulation tools
  • Basic knowledge of German and business fluent English
  • Existing work permit for the EU
