Tasks

• Management of external accounting, bookkeeping and external financial reporting

• Operational design and preparation of auditable monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)

• Control and monitoring of cost and performance accounting

• Responsibility for (sales) tax reporting

• Optimisation of reporting as well as development and review of internal reporting

• Technical management of the accounting team

• Conception and integration of a financial system in ABAS ERP

• Development, maintenance and optimisation of financial reporting

Qualification

• Degree in economics with a focus on finance or accounting, auditing or a similar qualification

• Alternatively, commercial training with relevant professional experience in finance and accounting

• Extensive professional and management experience in finance

• In-depth knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB)

• Excellent skills in using MS Office and ERP systems

• Fluency in written and spoken English
