Tasks

  • Operational team management and strategic development of the HR department in Germany

  • First point of contact for management in all HR-relevant topics, provision of reports and KPIs

  • Responsibility for local HR processes such as onboarding, staff retention and development, offboarding, including optimisation, automation and digitalisation

  • Conscientiously ensuring compliance with labour laws

  • Collaboration on global HR projects and continuous improvement of global HR processes

  • Responsible for accurate and timely monthly payroll accounting with an external payroll service provider

  • Assessment of social security and tax law issues

  • Effective correspondence with health insurance funds, authorities and social security institutions

Qualification

  • Completed commercial vocational training with further training as a human resources specialist

  • Alternatively, a successfully completed degree in business administration specialising in human resources management

  • Several years of sound professional experience in the HR area

  • Very good knowledge of the relevant legal regulations (tax, social security and labour law)

  • Expertise in the accounting of time bonuses

  • Successful cooperation with employee representatives and successful implementation of personnel and labour law measures

  • Detailed user knowledge of MS Office and Google Workspace

  • Very good German and good English skills

  • Existing work permit for the European Union
