Tasks

• Overall responsibility for disciplinary and technical management of the logistics team, including development and evaluation of employees

• Optimisation and monitoring of material flows and internal handling processes in the areas of incoming goods, storage, picking, packing and shipping

• Leading the development and implementation of a long-term logistics strategy

• Defining and monitoring key performance, quality and productivity indicators for the division

• Ensuring target achievement in terms of costs, productivity and adherence to deadlines while maintaining quality standards

• Responsibility for budgeting and cost control in the logistics area

• Ensuring the availability and maintenance of logistics equipment

• Planning staff deployment, taking holidays and training into account

Qualification

• Completed studies specialising in logistics or supply chain management

• Alternatively, successfully completed commercial vocational training with additional training as a logistics foreman, materials management specialist or materials logistics specialist

• Several years of professional experience in a comparable position

• Sound knowledge of lean and project management

• Good written and spoken English skills
