Tasks

• Independent assembly and disassembly of all mechanical test set-ups in the laboratory

• Test stand supervision in the entire field of materials testing

• Carrying out fracture mechanics tests including documentation and preparation of results

• Carrying out fatigue tests including documentation and preparation of results

• Metallographic sample preparation and microscopic examinations

• Taking over the technical communication with the customer

Qualification

• Successfully completed vocational training as a materials tester

• Sound knowledge of materials analysis methods, metallography, materials testing machines and measuring technology

• Basic knowledge in carrying out fracture mechanics tests

• Good knowledge of English

• Willingness to travel and work on site with customers
