Tasks

  • Ensure that the work performed on an aircraft or component complies with the following regulations and guidelines:
    • Application of airworthiness standards and OEM instructions and safety standards of the relevant aviation authorities and other claim parties
    • Implement company policies and procedures
    • Inspect all spare parts prior to installation and ensure that they are approved and properly certified
    • Marking of removed parts and ensuring that they are forwarded to quarantine
  • Carrying out maintenance, repairs and daily inspection of company aircraft
  • Complete and certify work reports for all work carried out (following individual training)
  • Follow company procedures as per the maintenance manual, taking into account health and safety at work
  • Carry out receiving inspections where applicable

Qualification

  • Successfully completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic with a valid EASA CAT A / B1.1 licence

  • Previous experience in aircraft maintenance in an aviation operator environment

  • Experience from work with the German Air Force or military aircraft training is an advantage

  • Practical experience working on complex assignments requiring considerable judgement, initiative and technical/professional knowledge

  • Very good German and English language skills

  • Basic computer and data entry skills

  • Driving licence class B / classes B96, BE or C advantageous

  • Willingness to work a flexible rota and shift work, as well as business trips (also international)
