Tasks

• Planning, evaluation and implementation of non-destructive material testing (NDT) for national and international customers

• Carrying out tests in the areas of magnetic particle testing, dye penetrant testing, visual inspection, X-ray testing and ultrasonic testing

• Documentation of test results in written form

• Carrying out standardised tests on a wide range of materials

Qualification

• Successfully completed vocational or further training as a materials tester or a comparable qualification

• Proof of certified X-ray testing (RT) level II or III or certification as RT film evaluator RI level II or III in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9712

• Proof of certified ultrasonic testing (UT) level II or III in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9712

• Proof of surface crack testing (MT/PT) and eddy current testing (ET) in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9712 advantageous

• Qualification in RT / UT / MT / PT / ET in accordance with aviation standard EN 4179 desirable

• Confident user knowledge of MS Office

• Good knowledge of English

• Willingness to work shifts and travel (mainly national)

• Existing work permit for the European Union
