Tasks

  • Operating and monitoring automated manufacturing processes for surface treatment and isolation of cryogenic flight components

  • Optimise preparation and post-processing of flight hardware for automated processes

  • Ensure efficient set-up and regular maintenance of production equipment

  • Precise execution of quality controls during production

  • Professional manual pre-treatment of surfaces for subsequent bonding and coating processes

  • Careful integration of insulation mats on cryogenic fuel tanks

  • Competent assembly of components on fuel tanks and intertank structures

  • Safe handling of large components using remote-controlled vehicles, cranes and aerial work platforms

Qualification

  • Successfully completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, mechatronics technician or a comparable qualification with many years of professional experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the areas of manufacturing / production, aerospace and mechatronics

  • In-depth user knowledge of MS Office, SAP and PLM

  • Business fluent in German and proficient in English

  • Existing work permit for the EU
