Tasks

• Transfer, familiarisation and maintenance of maintenance specifications while simultaneously defining the scope of work in corresponding work documents

• Supporting and advising production areas in the application of the supervised procedures to individual engine parts

• Introduction and modification of repair procedures for individual engine parts (blasting technology, painting, coating) as well as development, evaluation and documentation of test programmes and trials

• Processing and implementation of manufacturer information, standards and official requirements

• Preparation and initiation of manufacturer and authority approvals (as part of development operations)

• Analysis and optimisation of product and process quality

• Defining, describing and preparing the implementation of changes to maintenance specifications

• Technical cooperation in equipment planning, development and procurement (machines, devices, tools, test equipment) as well as advising specialist departments and making selection decisions

Qualification

• Successfully completed technical vocational training

• Demanding additional qualification related to the assigned task, e.g. planning specialist in aviation technology, master craftsman or technician

• Good knowledge of non-thermal coating processes (e.g. painting) and blasting processes (e.g. cleaning blasting) desirable

• Expertise in aviation legislation desirable

• User knowledge of MS Office, eDoc and SAP R/3

• Good knowledge of German and English

• Existing work permit for the EU
