Tasks

  • Taking over the interface function to suppliers for operational tasks

  • Evaluating suppliers during the tendering phase and participating in selection decisions

  • Managing supply chain and quality aspects of contracts with a focus on on-time quality and cost control

  • Ensuring the quality of suppliers and monitoring certifications in collaboration with relevant stakeholders

  • Supporting the introduction of new products and work transfers to ensure industrial qualification maturity prior to the series production phase

  • Assessing supplier capacity, capabilities and performance and contributing to supplier development

  • Identifying industrial risks with suppliers and proposing risk mitigation measures

  • Leading supplier performance improvement projects and reporting on operational performance

Qualification

  • Completed studies in engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable technical degree programme

  • First professional experience in the areas of manufacturing / production, supplier management, mechanics, project management and quality management

  • Basic knowledge of process and risk management

  • APICS training is an advantage

  • In-depth user knowledge of SAP and Google Workspace

  • Business fluent in German and English

  • Willingness to travel on business, approx. once a month, max. 2-3 days

  • Existing work permit for the EU
