Tasks

  • Conversion of production requirements into purchase requisitions and orders in compliance with all relevant aviation regulations and planning specifications
  • Evaluation and selection of suitable suppliers, taking into account admissibility
  • Obtaining, reviewing and evaluating offers for a well-founded selection decision
  • Optimising price and costs by selecting suitable purchasing sources
  • Identifying, commissioning and despatching materials as required
  • Ensuring targeted delivery times and conditions
  • Ensuring feedback and communication with requisitioners, suppliers and internal purchasing teams
  • Managing transparency, prioritisation and adherence to deadlines for all open purchasing processes as well as adjustment and coordination as required; adherence to KPIs

Qualification

  • Completed technical vocational training with basic knowledge of business administration or commercial training with technical understanding
  • Professional experience in technical purchasing and sound market knowledge in the field of aircraft-related materials management an advantage
  • Expertise with material cycles
  • Profound user knowledge of MS Office and SAP R3
  • Confident knowledge of English
  • Flexibility for assignments at home and abroad
  • Existing work permit within the EU
