Tasks

  • Support of the Programme Lead Buyer (Lead Buyer for a helicopter series)

  • Assistance in bid evaluation, supplier selection and negotiation process

  • Support the supply management functions (procurement contract management, raw material management, supply chain and quality management, supplier development management, purchasing controlling, risk management)

  • Ensuring the correct and consistent application of procurement processes

  • Maintenance of the programme procurement plan with detailed supply management tasks and obligations including monitoring of cost development

  • Contact person for the product line / project in all matters relating to product procurement

  • Participation in the delivery of products and associated documentation and services through on quality, on time, on cost

  • Interface between programme and supply management

  • Preparation of a consolidated supply management report for the project / product line (hardware costs, total cost of ownership including non-quality costs, on quality / on time metrics, issues, risks and opportunities)

  • Regular monitoring and updating of project progress

Qualification

  • Successfully completed studies in industrial engineering or business administration

  • Several years of professional experience in the areas of purchasing and project management

  • Detailed user knowledge of MS Office

  • Business fluent in German and English, knowledge of French advantageous

  • Existing work permit for the EU
