Tasks

  • Selection of suitable subcontractors taking into account all legal and operational regulations

  • Identification of new subcontractor activities, based on the needs of all faculties in the area of quality

  • Creation and coordination of service descriptions within Quality for the commissioning of the planned work packages

  • Joint management with Purchasing of the end-to-end management of subcontractor activities, from contract to delivery and subsequent finalisation of contracts

  • Proactively monitor subcontractor performance to ensure that quality, on-time delivery and cost meet requirements

  • Handling risks and discrepancies with subcontractors

  • Perform root cause analysis and mitigation measures to minimise impact and prevent recurrence

  • Seeking strategic opportunities to create economic benefits in the supply chain and identifying opportunities for optimisation and innovation

Qualification

  • Successfully completed studies or economics or a comparable technical degree

  • Several years of professional experience in the areas of project and quality management

  • Detailed user knowledge of MS Office

  • Business fluent in German and English

  • Existing work permit for the EU
