Tasks

• Disciplinary leadership of the "Engineering" department and teams
• Operational planning, control and coordination to realise strategy and achieve business objectives
• Ensuring continuous development progress and developing technical solutions across the entire product life cycle
• Ensuring business success and increasing profitability by developing new markets and innovative technical solutions
• Responsibility for the airworthy continuation of the entire product portfolio and commissioned systems
• Ensuring documentation and verification in the context of development, approval and airworthy continuation
• Technical support in the implementation of the strategy, business development, sales activities and preparation of offers
• Optimal utilisation of the value chain, taking into account the "make or buy" strategy and close cooperation with supply management
• Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, internal processes and procedures as well as continuous process optimisation in coordination with the Accountable Manager and Quality Management

Qualification

• Degree in aerospace engineering or equivalent qualification
• Several years of professional experience in engineering with expertise in system design, mechanical engineering, flight test & integration as well as construction in civil and/or military projects
• Proven leadership skills and extensive experience in team management with the values of teamwork, reliability, creativity, respect, customer focus and integrity
• Sound knowledge of compliance with regulatory requirements according to EASA Part21J/G and relevant CS with appropriate verification management
• Fluency in German and English
• Flexibility to travel domestically and abroad
