Did you know that Facebook's innovative Facebook Jobs feature went live in the EU in 2018, only to be discontinued in 2022? Although it is still available for free to employers in the US or Canada, we will have to look for alternatives outside these regions.

How do I post a job on Facebook?

Until 2022, Facebook Jobs allowed employers to create job listings on their company page and post them to the platform's database for free. This allowed for collaborative interaction between Facebook Jobs and groups that were also dedicated to job search. 

With the removal of Facebook Jobs, employers can now publish their job opportunities on Facebook as a post on the company profile. Why can't I create a job advert on Facebook?

The Facebook Jobs feature will no longer be supported and will no longer be available in Germany as of 22 February 2022. Neither employers nor jobseekers will have access to this feature on the Facebook app, the Facebook mobile site (m.facebook.com/jobs) or the desktop version of the Facebook site.

The time a job post is active on Facebook can vary, but a post usually remains active until it is manually deleted. However, organic reach decreases over time. 

Paid adverts increase visibility and can be set with a custom duration.

Can I publish Facebook job listings in different languages?

One option for multilingual Facebook job postings is to create a separate Facebook fan page for each language. The posts will then need to be posted independently on each fan page in each language.
